VS500 has a nice look design, continue with their Iconic blue color. VS500 just won the 2020 Germany Red Dot Design Award. It’s lighter (420g) and smaller size (60*60*210mm) than VS400, use charging cradle to charge. One charge for five hours.

AV500 is their latest model launched in 2019
What differ from AV400 is that they change the color of the light to green, and change from class 2 laser to class 1 laser, which would be safer and the color green is more comfortable for eyes to use. And updated the brightness to three levels.
Another features AccuVein device has is Timeout Choices, it can be configured to turn off in 10 minutes or stay always on. And AV500 can be used in MRI Zone 1,2,&3

Comparison
The fundamental difference of AccuVein and VeinSight is that they uses different light source, AccuVein uses Laser and VeinSigth uses near-infrared light.
Thr first difference caused by that is Accuvein will have a more clear vein image, comparing to any other near-infrared light based vein finder, but laser has it’s disadvantage as well, it’s not as safe as near-infrared light and it may cause dizzy after long time use.
VeinSight VS500 certainly has much more features and fun to use, And the price would be less than AccuVein.
